Jack and Elise // Married
Jack and Elise had the most perfect backyard summer wedding I could have ever dreamed up! They got married at Jack's parent's home outside of Richmond and it was such an incredible celebration of two people who are wildly loved by their family and friends. The girls got ready in the neighboring house which was owned by close family friends (and had THE BEST light) and then Elise took a path cut through the woods to the ceremony site to meet her groom. They said their vows in the nook of the tree line in the family's backyard and then everyone gathered up their chairs and headed to the big white tent out front to celebrate the newlyweds! The whole day was full of prayer, meaning, and sentiment. Elise has a tattoo of Hosea 2:19 "I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion" and the same verse was written on a gorgeous sign outside the reception space - a promise of enduring love vowed by the bride and groom and a reflection of the covenant love of the Lord. During the reception, Jack transported us via golf cart to his uncle's neighboring land for some last couples' portraits as the sun faded and those are some of my absolute favorites. Elise and Jack, you guys were way too kind to Wes and I and also just so much fun - thank you for allowing us to be part of your day!
