Erin absolutely SLAYED her bridal session. As if she herself wasn’t gorgeous enough, her dress was absolutely incredible! The fit, the lace, the SLEEVES - it was hands down one of the most beautiful dresses that I have photographed. So many of my brides have found their gowns at Studio I Do in Downtown Roanoke and I love following them on Instagram (especially their Try-On Tuesday stories). I recently had the opportunity to visit the store for our local creatives meet-up and it was just a dreamy as I imagined. Go check them out if you are in the process of planning your wedding! Oh, and let’s also talk about my deep, undying love for cathedral-length veils. I have WAY too much fun with them. Erin brought her mom and bridesmaid with her to the session and they were so helpful when it came time to make some magical veil shots (shout out to Diana and Kasey - you two are the real MVP’s). The Hotel Roanoke is one of my favorite locations for bridal sessions because it is truly iconic and has so many gorgeous spots for portraits. Although I have shot there before, I love to challenge myself to create different types of portraits for each client and some of my favorites were taken on a back staircase leading out to the courtyard - Erin looks like a straight up queen.
